Wow - It's been too long!

Well, I have done a dreadful job maintaining this blog. I guess I could try to blame it on the excitement in my life, but other than playing with my girls, things just haven't been that exciting.

Anyways, Kenz is not a baby anymore. She has grown into a young lady capable of telling her dad what she wants, and when she wants it. And of course she knows how to make sure she gets it - as I am sure all little girls can do with their daddy.

She loves going to the park and goes up and down the slides over and over again. She also likes to point out airplanes and hot air balloons in the sky - there were tons of balloons in the San Diego sky on Valentine's Day!

Well, I hope this gets me back in the routine of posting on here. And here is a pic of our young lady at the park today!

Great Saturday!

So dad took off the entire Saturday! The WHOLE thing! So to celebrate we hung out all day. First dad woke me up at 6:30 while he was trying to cover me up with a blanket. Then he left me at home to get ready for the day while he went to the cove for a swim. Mom was sooooo happy I was up so early. She hates sleeping in on Saturdays.

Anyways, when dad got up we went to the gym where we climbed all over the jungle gym, played on the swing and hung out with the other kids. Then dad took me to Geppetto's toy shop where he got me a treat that we played with for a few hours after we got home. After my nap (dad is exhausting to hang out with) I took mom and dad to the zoo.

On the way there, we watched the kids on the carousel.....

And then rode the Balboa Park train...

We went to the Kid's part of the zoo (not so sure about the goats)...

And watched a puppet show...

Then we went out for italian food, where dad and I knocked back a few cold ones...


And then wandered the streets of San Diego....

I finished the day with a nice bath...

And then a good book...

It was a great day!

To the ZOO!

So I took mom and dad to the zoo today. Wasn't sure how they would hold up, but they did alright. I loved the monkeys (all the different kinds) and the GIANT hippo!

Finally

So mom and dad bring me to San Diego about eight months ago and the closest thing to a beach experience I get is dipping my toes in the water after sunday morning breakfast at Naked Cafe. Well mom and dad finally got around to taking me to the beach for a morning of some SoCal fun.

Back in Action

Well dad has done a terrible job keeping you guys up to date. Anyways,
long story short.... I have been busy. I have been to Reno for Easter
and back out to Kansas for mother's day. This morning we went to the
cove for brunch - Brockway Villa. Pretty good. As usual I made friends
with everyone around. Just like at Thai food last Friday.
Anyways, dad needs to put up some video of me walking. He says it
should be up soon.

Pool Party!

Well today mom and dad took me back to the pool. I say "back" to the pool, but the truth is, they haven't taken me to the pool since we were in Reno last summer. Hello. Anyone home? I am a beach girl now mom and dad. It's not going to fly if I can't swim. I mean seriously, I am nine months old now. Let's get cracking guys!

Ready for my Sunday! think I'll take mom and dad up the coast for
breakfast at pipes. Then maybe after my siesta we will go down and
walk on the beach. I love Sundays!

Well just when mom and dad thought that they would have a chance to get used to me crawling, I gave them a dose of reality...... you will never keep me down!

Well mom and dad took me to their favorite Italian place in Encinitas
tonight. Trattoria i Trulli.
It was great!

Back in Action

Well dad hasn't been the best blogging dad lately, but he promises that will change. I think the problem is that we lost our camera, were travelling between San Diego and Reno and Kansas every other week, and were just generally busy. Anyways, I have changed a lot, if you can't tell from my pictures.

Anyways, the movers come on Saturday and on Sunday I am a Cali-girl!

Ride Up The Coast

Well this morning I took a ride up the coast with my pal Mike. Steph
and I (and some friends for KU including Mike) are doing the Kansas
half in June.
